Frequently Asked Questions
How durable and suitable for daily use is cork leather?
Cork leather is lightweight, flexible, and made for daily use, making it ideal for cork bags, cork wallets or cork accessories for everyday life. Like any material, proper maintenance extends its durability.
Are your cork products waterproof?
Cork is a natural moisture repellent. In everyday use, it withstands water splashes and light moisture well. For prolonged exposure to water (e.g., heavy rain for several hours), we recommend drying the product and avoiding it becoming soaked for long periods.
How to properly clean and care for cork products?
In most cases, a soft, slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Avoid harsh cleaning products, solvents or abrasive sponges. For cork yoga products (e.g. cork yoga mat or cork yoga block), also clean gently and allow to dry thoroughly.
Is cork really vegan?
Yes: cork is obtained from the bark of the cork oak tree, making it a vegan material. We use cork leather as an animal-free alternative to traditional leather.
Does cork have a smell at first?
New products may have a slight natural smell from the material. This usually disappears after a short time, especially if you air the product for a brief period.
