I am Paulo, and my path to cork happened purely by chance — yet I firmly believe that nothing happens without reason. Although Portugal, my home country, is the land of cork, my true journey into this world only began in 2015.
Since then, cork has become more than a material to me: it is a life mission. In it, I discovered a symbol of balance between nature and human beings — resilient, sustainable, and authentic.
It was from this vision that Paulo The Cork Man was born, a project that evolved into a brand dedicated to inspiring a more natural and conscious way of living.
Together with Jenny Silva, a Yoga Alliance–certified yoga teacher and co-founder of the brand, we unite two worlds — the wisdom of cork and the harmony of yoga — to create products that promote well-being, sustainability, and a deep connection to the Earth.
Our purpose is simple: to show that living in balance with the planet is possible — and that it begins with the small choices we make every day.

Jenny brings the serene energy of yoga practice, body and mind awareness, and the deep belief that balance begins within us. I bring the experience and knowledge of cork — a unique material born from Portuguese soil, renewable, breathable, and full of life.
From this union, a philosophy was born: every product must carry a purpose.
We want every cork mat, block, or accessory to inspire a more sustainable, healthy, and conscious way of living — without excess, without waste, only what is essential.
